The healing journey is a soul journey. Sickness is not a personal failure. It is an opportunity for the soul to more fully inhabit one’s life and direct one’s decisions. The process unfolds in stages. The first can be called de-structuring and opening. It is a time of clearing away the old and demands a plant-based diet, which conveys nature’s special gifts, including its ability to flow and change effortlessly. The second is new inspiration, creativity and rebirth, which is a period of renewal, restoration, and enthusiasm. The third is re-structuring and the formation of a new identity, based on all that we have learned in our transformation. This lecture will reveal some of the milestones on the healing journey and how we can best adapt to allow the soul to do the work of healing our bodies, transforming our minds, and restoring our hearts.
